How to Measure for the Right Size
Bust
With arms relaxed down at sides, measure around fullest part of bust, under
arms keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
Chest
With arms relaxed down at sides, measure chest just under arms, across
shoulder blades keeping tape parallel to the floor.
Gloves
Measure around hand at fullest part with thumb extended.
Height
Stand with normal posture (barefoot) on a hard, flat surface. Measure from
top of head down.
Hips
With feet together, measure around the fullest part of the body at the top
of the legs. Please note: hips are about 8" below natural waist. (Petite 7½"
below; Regular 8" below; Tall 8½" below.)
Natural Waist
Bend to one side—the natural crease that appears is your waist. Stand
straight, measure around natural waistline, careful not to pull the tape too
tight.
Neck
Measure around fullest part, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
Sleeve
With arm relaxed at side and elbow slightly bent, measure from center back
of neck, over point of shoulder, and down outside of arm past elbow to
wrist. (Ask a friend to help you.)

Measuring Tips
• For
the best results, take your measurements over your undergarments (do not
measure over shirts and trousers).
• If
you fall between two sizes, order the next size larger or smaller based on
the particular garment or the type of fit you prefer..
• Ask
a friend to help you out. It may be easier and more accurate.
• Since
measuring tapes tend to slide easily and are difficult to keep level, try
using a piece of string or yarn. Place your fingers at the start and end
points, keeping the string level to the floor. Then, measure the distance
between the two points.
